My current roles include Deputy Chair of Morgannwg Local Medical Committee, committee member of the All Wales Prescribing Advisory Group (AWPAG), providing Locum services to NHS practices in the South Wales area and working as the Medical Director for a Private ambulance firm (Local Medical Services). I also provide private medical cover to high-profile VIPs in South Wales.
I have extensive experience working with elite athletes and professional sports teams including: the Football Association of Wales, Liverpool FC (1st XI), the Irish football Association, Queensland Reds RFC, Brisbane Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, Gloucester Allgolds RLFC, Newcastle Eagles (basketball), Gateshead FC, Birmingham Royal Ballet, Special Olympics and Blaydon RFC
I believe in a friendly, tailored, shared management approach to clinical practice.
I have completed a Masters Degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine and have published several journal articles including a recent BMJ clinical update summary on paediatric hernias.

I have extensive experience in elite sport including football, rugby union/league, ballet, basketball and judo. I am available for one-off event cover in addition to new club/team based opportunities.
The majority of my work is as a locum General Practitioner in the NHS. I predominantly work in Port Talbot. I have extensive experience in all aspects of General Practice but have particular expertise in mental health, paediatrics, sports and exercise medicine, nutrition, research, medical emergencies and traumatic injuries.
I provide private home visits and telephone consultations on request as well as acting as a freelance consultant, including acting as a committee member on the All Wales Prescribing Advisory Group (AWPAG).
